The study we will be working on today is on man's nature, that is, his relationship to original sin. We will look at man's natural inclinations and how those affect his behavior and relationship with God.
We are now engrossed in a study of the book of 1 John. The Apostle John, the last living apostle of Jesus Christ, this sensitive man of God, now in his late 80’s or early 90’s, was used by God to repute & rebuke the false teachers who were being used by the devil to bring hurt & pain into the early church. Human philosophies sprang up to deny many of the basic doctrines which were first taught by Jesus Christ, and later were proclaimed by those whom Jesus had taught & prepared so carefully.
Interview with Jeff Adams, Minister of Spiritual Growth at Wilcrest Baptist Church. A discussion of Jeff's calling into bi-vocational ministry, in addition to discussing how our lives must be centered on Christ and glorifying God in all that we do.
In our study through the book of 1 John we are now in the 3rd chapter, verse 2. It reads: “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
